They still call them a Stingteam. Old designation, old doctrine – back when the platform was light, the weapon was light, and the whole point was surgical precision from above.

These are not that.

The Drone Stingteam Specialists carry the kind of ordnance that rewrites the engagement. Compact plasma accelerators. Heavy-yield pulse arrays. Weapons that turn cover into debris and debris into vapor. Each operator rides the same hardened gravitic chassis as her standard-issue sisters – but where a regular Stingteam trooper pins you down, a Specialist removes what you were hiding behind.

The trade-off is mass. Heavier payloads mean slower repositioning, tighter thrust margins, reduced evasive capacity. A standard Stingteam flows like a blade through vertical space. Specialists move like a verdict – deliberate, measured, and absolutely final.

Tactically, they don’t replace the Stingteam. They complete it. Standard troopers map the kill zone, fix targets in place, force movement into predictable lanes. Then the Specialists arrive on the shared uplink, already locked, already calculating yield-to-target ratios that leave nothing to chance and very little to clean up afterward. Coordinated devastation delivered from an altitude your barricades were never built to cover.

The name stuck because the doctrine still holds – airborne superiority, collective fire discipline, the sky as sovereign territory. But somewhere between “sting” and “tactical saturation bombardment”, the metaphor stretched past its limits.

Nobody in the field corrects it. When a Specialist locks on, nomenclature is the last thing on your mind.

PREPARATION

1. Check
Firstly, check out all the details whether there are no missing or miscast parts.
If you have problems with details – please contact us at wargaming.space@gmail.com.

2. Supports & touchpoints
We sell our 3D printed models without any major supports, but you should remove small touchpoints and ultra-tiny supports left on the model.
Please use a model knife and fine sandpaper.
Don’t be intimidated by the process, we use a top-quality UV printing resin and it is very easy to work with.

3. Warped Parts and Repositioning
Sometimes thinner parts could be slightly bent or twisted.
You can easily fix that by immersing the piece in hot water or by applying heat from a hairdryer.
The piece should reform to its original shape by itself.
If not, gently twist the piece back into position.
The amount of heat that needs to be applied is often determined by the thickness of the parts. Thicker parts need to be heated for a longer time.
This technique can also be used to bend some parts into shapes and positions to pose models.
