If you had the perfect body – alive, strong, unstoppable – and then woke up in a skeletal frame of cold, unfeeling metal, you’d probably lose it too.

The Necrocyborgs are the long-dead, long-rebooted machine warriors of a forgotten empire. Once flesh-and-blood conquerors, now ghost-coded minds in cold steel shells, they’ve been locked in a limbo of broken sleep for thousands of years. Half-aware. Half-dreaming. Totally insane. And now they’re back – awakening in scattered waves across the stars, bringing logic-driven annihilation… and sometimes, something far worse.

Enter the Flayers.

These poor bastards didn’t just lose their humanity – they watched it rot from the inside. Trapped in maddening stasis, tortured by visions, they snapped. Now they scavenge more than just scrap from the battlefield. They wear the dead. Skin, guts, bone – whatever holds together long enough to drape across their twisted frames. Their claws carve, but not always to kill – sometimes just to collect.

Some of the smarter ones even disable their own olfactory sensors. That’s how bad it gets.

They don’t speak. They shriek. And when they show up mid-battle, morale doesn’t just drop – it implodes. Entire squads have turned their weapons inward rather than face them. Even some of the harder Commissars have dubbed them the “suicide squad” – not because they throw themselves into death, but because their arrival tends to invite it.

PREPARATION

1. Check
Firstly, check out all the details whether there are no missing or miscast parts.
If you have problems with details – please contact us at wargaming.space@gmail.com.

2. Supports & touchpoints
We sell our 3D printed models without any major supports, but you should remove small touchpoints and ultra-tiny supports left on the model.
Please use a model knife and fine sandpaper.
Don’t be intimidated by the process, we use a top-quality UV printing resin and it is very easy to work with.

3. Warped Parts and Repositioning
Sometimes thinner parts could be slightly bent or twisted.
You can easily fix that by immersing the piece in hot water or by applying heat from a hairdryer.
The piece should reform to its original shape by itself.
If not, gently twist the piece back into position.
The amount of heat that needs to be applied is often determined by the thickness of the parts. Thicker parts need to be heated for a longer time.
This technique can also be used to bend some parts into shapes and positions to pose models.
